The on/off switch included in this set is particularly suitable if you do not want to unplug the set each time you are not using or driving. In particular, if you operate the set with the on-board voltage in an older car, it can lead to voltage peaks when the motor is switched on and off. With the switch, you can switch off your Wi-Fi Camp Pro 2 set just before the start of your journey and do not have to unplug the power adapter every time. Also, the set is ideal if you do not want the Internet constantly on and want to turn on the devices only when needed.
To find out more about how the WiFi Camp Pro 2 Set works and how it is set up, visit our product page of the Original ALFA Network WiFi Camp Pro 2 Set.
We send the products contained in the set as individual products. We decided to take this step because the original WiFi Camp Pro 2 contains a slimmed down version of the R36A router. The full version of the R36A delivered by us has 128MB Ram instead of 64MB and also the full firmware of the R36A. With the complete R36A firmware you have the full range of functions of the ALFA R36A Extender Router including the LTE Extender option. So you have the option to expand your set with a Tube-U4G or Onyx-4G for the use of mobile internet (3G / 4G network).
For use on boats and for caravans, we have different mounting solutions for the tube series on offer.
The transmission power of the hardware is to be set in accordance with the legal regulations in your country. For Germany and the EU, an E.I.R.P.-maximum of 100mW or 20dBm is the limit for 2.4GHz WiFi devices including antennas. Please use the device in Germany only with the countries Zone ETSI or the regional setting for Germany to ensure compliance with the limits. The operation of a signal amplifier (for example antenna) is possible and also allowed, however, in combination with this the max. transmission power must not be exceeded. --->More Information
